Monthly Sunday afternoon concerts set in the heart of Central Australia surrounded by the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges. A feast for the senses.
Dates for the 2013 Alice Springs Courtyard Concerts have been confirmed and it all starts Sunday March 17 - St Pats Day.
Dates are: April 28, May 26, July 28 - Winter Dance Party, August 25, September 29 and the finale on November 3.
Artists already confirmed including Warren H Williams, Ted Egan, Katie Harder, Sally Balfour, King Marong, Bec Matthews and Jeanette Wormald.
Due to the success of 2012, the Courtyard Sessions are now a permanent fixture on the Alice Springs Calendar. The sessions were initiated by Jeanette Wormald, who has more than 15 years in the music industry as a professional singer songwriter and recording artist.
Jeanette had been searching for a venue that would showcase all that Alice Springs has to offer musically, blending it with a quality live sound and a stunning venue.
Tickets are $15 for members, $20 full price and children 12 and under are free. The event is fully catered. BYO welcome. People are encouraged to bring chairs or picnic blankets, however.
